Verse 1	O, for a faith that will not shrink, Though pressed by every foe, That will not tremble on the brink Of any earthly woe！	求賜信心永不膽怯，縱使敵方攻擊，不必驚慌不必擔憂，走過生死險徑！
Verse 2	That will not murmur nor complain Beneath the chastening rod, But, in the hour of grief or pain, Will lean upon its God.	毋去怨憎也不反抗，寧讓上主管教，憂傷苦楚懊惱擔心，依靠恩主福庇。
Verse 3	A faith that shines more bright and clear When tempests rage without； That when in danger knows no fear, In darkness feels no doubt.	信心發光更清更亮，每當暴雨風吹。身經險境不須驚慌，黑暗不必心碎。
Verse 4	That bears, unmoved, the world’s dread frown Nor heeds its scornful smile； That seas of trouble cannot drown, Nor Satan’s arts beguile.	煩惱痛楚世間取笑，信心永不動搖，雖於苦海必不沒落，不中魔鬼詭計。
